The purpose of the data processing is the operation of a virtual platform connected to the ‘Start for Future’ programme. Participation in the platform is possible for everyone which fullfills the access criteria  and voluntary by nature. The legal basis for data processing is therefore Article 6 (1) (a), 7 of the GDPR.

 

The SCE defines which type of personal data will be collected and processed in the core system.

Participants register on the platform with *mandatory information (name, e-mail address, role, clusters, location, resources/needs, password) and * voluntary data.

 

The purpose of data processing is to plan, organize, implement and evaluate entrepreneurship education and activities, foster co-creation and matching between various stakeholders, to do research and publish in anonymized form as well as to manage participant contact details, e.g. to issue confirmations of participation.

The legal basis of data processing is Article 6 (1)(a) GDPR.

8. SSL or TLS encryption

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and for the protection of the transmission of confidential content, such as the inquiries you send to us as the platform operator. We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time to comply with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the Privacy Policy, for example when introducing new services. Your renewed visit will then be subject to the new privacy policy.

We will retain the data you provide on the contact form until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer pertains (e.g. after fulfilling your request). Any mandatory statutory provisions, especially those regarding mandatory data retention periods, remain unaffected by this provision.

3. Registration on this platform

You can register on our platform in order to access additional functions offered here. The input data will only be used for the purpose of using the respective site or service for which you have registered. The mandatory information requested during registration must be provided in full. Otherwise, we will reject your registration.

 

To inform you about important changes such as those within the scope of our site or technical changes, we will use the email address specified during registration.

4. Recipient and persons authorized to access the users’ data

Only authorized persons working for the Data Controller can access your personal data. The Data Controller makes its best effort to ensure that these groups of people remain as small as possible and maintain the confidentiality and security of User’s personal data.

The Data Controller also uses trusted service providers to carry out a set of operations on his behalf for hosting. The Data Controller can also use service providers in the tech industry, editors of specific tools integrated in the Platform for technical purposes.

The Data Controller only provides service providers with the information they need to perform the service and ask them not to use your personal data for any other purpose. The Data Controller does his best to ensure that all these trusted service providers only process the personal data on our documented instructions and provide sufficient guarantees, in particular in terms of confidentiality, expert knowledge, reliability and resources, to implement technical and organizational measures which will meet the requirements of the applicable legislation, including for the security of processing.
